3 Credit Bureau, do you know the truth about Credit Bureaus?

There are some things you definitely need to know before getting a credit report.

Credit Bureaus are big money making machines, they will sell you your credit report but also convince you that you need alerts services for credit report fraud and identity theft.

You need to know the truth about them and some other options.

Firstly - there are things you can do right now to fix your credit report so you can get the kind of loan you want - if you have bad credit report it can cost you on average $150,000 more then if you have a credit score above 650.

The most important thing you can do right now to fix your credit report is to check for mistakes.

Did you know that 79% of all credit reports contain errors!

In 2004 the U.S. Public Interest Research Group found that 1 in 4 credit reports contained errors serious enough to be denied credit and housing! Or even a job.

So go through your report and check all your personal information, check all your credit history, check past addresses and your social security numbers .

Do a full check of your report - you need to check all three of the main credit report agencies.

These is no use doing just one as when you attempt to get a loan the lenders will want to check all three, or if they only check on it could be the credit report you have not got and not corrected, therefore you might miss out on that loan.

Here is some helpful information on credit reports that should help.

Reviews on Credit Reports:

Experian 5 star rating on Consumer Intelligence website ciao.com

Equifax , epioions.com they have a 2 and a half rating out of five

TransUnion, eopinions.com they are rated brilliant five out of five

Get a 3 Credit Bureau Report

3 Bureau Credit Report and PLUS Score for $34.95

Get 3-in-1 Credit Report with Score Power $39.9

A 3-in-1 Credit Report with FREE for $29.95

I hope this article about getting a 3 credit report was useful, feel free to leave a comment or and questions you may have.

Three Credit Agencies - There are a lot of things to consider when obtaining your free credit report from the three credit reporting agencies.

I know the value of your credit report - it’s your financial lifeline, so you need to obtain it in the right way and guard the information on their with your life.

I’ll so you all the tips and tricks and answer some frequently ask questions.
Some of the important considerations include:

Fraud Alerts

Getting a credit discloser

How to dispute information on my credit report.

Other Ways to Request your Credit Report

Fraud Alerts
You need to consider fraud on your credit file - see identity theft is Americas fastest growing crime, up to one in 4 Americans have been victims, so you need to protect yourself.

You have two options but I think you have only one, after I explain it you will see why. Most people will obtain an identity alert on your credit report, you pay a small monthly fee and anytime information changes on your report you get notified.

But this is misleading, firstly you need an alert on all three of the credit bureau, because what if the theft occurs in relation to your other 2 credit reports, you don’t have ann alert on them so how will they know to contact you?

Also, even if you do get 3 alerts you will need to spend $15 each per month - that’s $45 per month - every month. Also, someone needs to contact the bureau where you have the alert activated to report fraud has occurred on your account - this really happens.

A much better way is to just order additional credit reports - the government gives you a copy of each for free to you only need to more copies per year - that’s $60. As opposed to getting a fraud alert where you would be looking at over $500 per year.

Getting a Credit Discloser
This is the same as a Credit Report. Just like you check your credit card information each month you also need to check our credit report, a credit report is way more important to check and there are likely to be many errors.

How to dispute information on my credit report.
Contact the nationwide consumer credit reporting company that provided the credit report:

Equifax - www.equifax.com

Experian - www.experian.com

TransUnion - www.transunion.com

Other Ways to Request your Credit Report
You can get your report mailed to you - but that takes 15 days, you can order over the phone. The advantage by ordering over the internet is that you can pick it up instantly.

I Hope this information has been very useful for you and that you are able to make the best decision for you because of it.

Please don’t hesitate to ask a question or leave a comment.

Free Credit Bureau Report - You Want A Free Credit Report, not a free for a month then then have to cancel a direct debt to your credit card.

Many sites will say they are free but you will find they are misleading
Sad but true, It’s not quite dishonest but near enough. They are definitely misleading.

They will say they are free and then get you to put in your credit card details - notes - if you they ask for a credit card then you can be fairly sure that you will be hit up somewhere along the way. What they do is get you to add in your credit card details and won’t not bill you until a months time, they bet on most people forgetting to take themselves of the billing records.

Where to go for the absolutely free Credit report.

Consumers are entitled to getting all 3 credit reports form the big three credit reporting agencies. Yes, the government will provide you with a free report. Just go to annualcreditreport.com from there you can get all three. The only downfall is that you can only get one per year, you really should get 3 copies of your report throughout the year, so you will need to pay for it then.

Be careful not to get stung by fraud alerts.
I got hit up by the credit report agencies, as I wen tot by my credit report I show some advertising for a fraud alert, I thought it was a good idea, as I know that internet fraud is increasing and I thought is would be smart to protect myself.

People don’t realize that these alerts are unnecessary and don’t work particularly well. You see the criteria to set off one of the alerts is too narrow, they are also expensive.

The best way to correct yourself against Identity Theft is to buy all three copies of your credit report form Equfax, TransUnion and Experian. These are the main credit reporting agencies so they are the best place to obtain your report. If you just get 3 more copies throughout the year then you will have all the information you need to protect yourself against identity theft, as you can check on the report is there has been any improper use of your accounts.

I hope these tips were useful and show you the best way to get a free credit report and also how to avoid paying extra with fraud alerts.

Three Credit Reporting Agencies - You’ve probably realize that getting your credit report is a big deal., it’s your financial lifeblood, a bad credit report can ruin your financial future.

You can make it back - I’m living proof of that - but the odds are against you, the best strategy is to not get on the slippery slop of bad credit, and know how to manage your credit report information.

Firstly you need to buy your credit report, now this might seem simple and it is but, you need to consider a few things first. These best place to get your credit repot is from annualcreditreport.com

They will give you a completely free report, once a year, from the three credit reporting agencies, why? because it is government funded. The government made a new law not too long again to make it possible for Americans Citizens to have access to their financial information.

The only draw back is that they will only give you one report per year from each agency, you need to get at least two reports.

Why you ask? because you need to check your reports more often, once a year is not nearly good enough. You don’t wait to check your credit card statement once a year, (or at least I hope you don’t ). Your credit report is way to important for that.

Just like checking your credit card statement for bad information and fraudulent activity you need to check your credit report for the same thing.

If you get stung by a thief and they damage you identity then you can take years to recover, or may never recover. Getting copies of your credit report will prevent this from happening, even if it does happen you can act on fixing it quickly, and, you simply have no other viable alternative.

You may have heard of Credit Fraud Alerts. Yes they all offer this service - the big three credit bureaus - and for good reason, they have to do very little work and generate hundreds of millions of dollars each year.

They actually do the sell of it really well and people generally don’t know the alternatives so it’s easy to see how people will purchase it. With todays society the way it is - credit identity theft being so bad. Then it’s easy to see why people are scared and why you need it.

But you are really throwing your hard earned way. What is I told you you can save $500 dollars and have a more secure credit report. Yes, you can get this - and I’m not even trying to sell anything to you - see I’ve done my research and I now there is a better way.

Don’t take my word for it - do a big of googling and you will soon reach my same conclusions.

See Alerts will only send you an alert when and after the even has happened, but someone needs to actually report it to the bureaus this really happens. Also, you need an alert placed on all your credit bureaus so they call can track any suspicious activity. that will cost you $15 each - so over $500 all up for the year.

The alternative is to just order more credit reports - that will set you back $60 - instead of $500.
Yes, like you credit card statement you need to check your report for mistakes and anything that looks a bit suss.

Please don’t hesitate to leave any questions, I hope this document has provided good information on Three Credit Reporting Agencies and will save you money and keep your information for your eyes only.

You want to clean up your credit report? Hey, my name’s Justin and I want to share a few things I learned about cleaning up your credit report.

I’ve got some great tips to help you clean up your credit report as I’ve been there myself.

I had what you might say a disgusting credit report. I’m the first one to admit I got into some bad habit and had to truly fight my way out. But, I came out the other side and you can too. If I can do it in the state I was in then you can too - with these tips…

The first thing you can do is get your credit report and then methodically go through each step to clean your report:

1. Get your credit report
Go here to get your report, it includes all 3 of the top agencies in America, see you need to get all three as each on will be different.

2. Look for errors
Do you know that 90% of Credit Reports have errors? That’s right, if it’s not a credit report error it will be an error with your personal details, make sure the address are correct and you have all three reports looking consistent - you will need to contact each report and get them to amend any errors.

3. Don’t close your accounts down
It seems very counter intuitive but it’s actually true. See if you close your accounts down and try an consolidate your loans then you will effectively end any credit history you had with those account. 35% of what your score is made up of is past credit history, so it’s gold as far as clean up your report.

4. Keep your loan to credit ratio small
It seems counter intuitive also but it makes sense when you think about it. You need to make sure there’s no a huge difference between how much credit you have access to and how much you have paid off. If you owe to much then your creditors think that you are less likely to pay them off as it looks as though your up to your eyeballs in debt.

I hope these tips help - they certainly did for me.

Remember to stick to a solid plan of cleaning up your report and don’t stray, the hardest thing I found was getting motivated enough to pay back the loans - it was just so hard to go with out for a period of time, but you have not option.

Improving your credit report rating is something that should be very high on your agenda if you are thinking about taking out any sort of finance such as a loan, a mortgage or even a credit card.

By having a solid rating, you will get access to cheaper loans and avoid the embarrassment of ever being rejected for a loan that you apply for.

But how do you improve your credit report rating? It’s a bit of messing around, but there are no big secrets.

The three main consumer reporting agencies - Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion, are legally obliged to give you a free copy of your credit report every year if you ask for it. That should be your first step.

Once you have your report you will be able to see all of the items that affect your credit report rating. You should carefully go through the items and make a seperate list of each item that is either unfactual or misleading.

Under each item you should write a concise and easy to understand explanation of why that item is incorrect or misleading. Remember a human will be reading it so make sure it is easy to read.

Next you need to get together some evidence of each item that supports your version of events. This could be receipts or bank statements. While this is not an essential step, it will help the chances of your report being corrected and your rating increasing.

Now, you just need to send off you request and the consumer reporting company will start reviewing the items. They will usually get back in touch with you in a month to let you know the outcome of your case.

And that is how to go about improving your credit report rating.

Of course, it is a long and tedious process which is why a lot of people end up hiring a credit repair company to guide them, but this is not necessary.

Making a credit report request is something you should do every year, and the good news is that it’s free.

In fact, each of the consumer reporting companies who are responsible for collecting your credit history and reporting it are legally obliged to offer you a free copy of your credit report annually if you ask for it.

And asking for your free credit report can be a very smart move.

You see, by knowing what is on your credit report you can get better and cheaper access to finance which will come in handy when it comes time for you to get a mortgage or take out a loan for whatever reason. It can save you years of repayments and thousands of dollars.

But you need to make sure your credit report is in good shape.

Firstly, request your credit report from each of the three main consumer credit agencies.

Next, highlight the items on your credit report that are wrong or misleading. These items are what will give you the chance to improve your overall credit score.

You should make a list of those items along with a detailed explanation below each item showing why you think the item is unfactual or misleading.

If you have any evidence such as recipts, you should make a copy and attack it to your list as this will help your case.

Send you letter off to the appropriate credit reporting agency with a request that they look into the highlighted items. They will usually get back to you within a month with corrections.

That is how you go about improving your credit score over time and why it’s important to put in your credit report request annually.

By constantly improving your own credit report you will get many benefits from loan institutions and banks that can save you a lot of time in repayments not to mention a lot of money in interest.

To get your credit report is a pretty easy process. In fact it can be done online for free and is probably one of the first things you should do when you are considering applying ofr any type of finance or loan.

You see, your credit report can mean the difference between getting a great deal on your loan and getting a terrible one or even getting rejected for finance.

The good news is that if you get your credit report, you can judge your own chances and even improve them. Here’s how to do it.

There are three consumer reporting companies that are responsible for collating your credit history. They all use different sources so each of the companies may have a slightly different idea about your credit. You need to get your annual free credit report from each of these companies.

After you have your credit report from them, you can then start going through it and finding the items on your report that are having a bad effect on your credit score. You are particularly interested in items that might not be correct or are even slightly misleading.

You need to collect all of those items in a list and then make notes on each of them to explain why the item should be removed from your credit report or changed. Do this in a clearly written letter and attack copies of any financial evidence you might have such as credit card statements or receipts.

After you send it off, the consumer reporting company will get back to you, usually within a month - they will either have changed the items or explain why they haven’t.

At that stage you will usually get a new copy of your credit report with the improvements made! Then you are elligable for better finance deals.

That is basically why you should get your credit report and check it!

These best way to improve your score fast are the methods described below, I’ve been scorched from a bad credit score in the past and want to share my tips so you don’t get burnt.

You are not alone with needing to fix your credit report fast.

There are currently 30 million plus people in the United States that have credit scores under 620.

I was shocked to read that only 27 percent of consumers understand that scores measure credit risk.

Top 4 Ways:

First you need to get 3 copies of all your credit reports. You can get them from annualcreditreport.com or Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. There are also many other places but be careful of scams, they will tray and steal your identity.

Avoid Bankruptcy
This is the fastest way to improve your score, one you are bankrupt you can find yourself struggling for years to get back to the top of the financial heap, just getting off the floor can be a major struggle. You can loose 200 points form becoming bankrupt.

Pay Your Bills On time
Use direct debt online bank accounts or get it moved directly from your pay packet each week to avoid any avoidable mishaps. Missing your payment by more then 30 days can have serious effects on your credit score.

Resist Closing Down Old Accounts
It seems rather counter intuitive but it’s one of the best ways to improve your score. See if you close down and old account you will delete all your payment history. When the credit companies add up your credit scare they take into account your past credit payments so they need a destroy to do this, if you close an account down then you effectively erase all your credit history.

Don’t Consolidate Your Accounts
This is similar to the above point as you will erase all your credit history if you go about closing your accounts down, you may think you are doing well consolidating but that’s where you are wrong, see you may save a bit with a lower combined interest rate but it’s not worth erasing all your credit history for.

Try and get some counseling if you fear you are getting behind on your repayments - as that is the most effective way to prevent you from damaging your credit report, be vigilant and get on any spot fires early before they turn into fire storms that can destroy your future credit score.

Remember Fast Credit Repair is not easy it takes dedication, but form a plan and just stick to it, like anything in life what you seed with grow if nurtured well.
